Mr. Titus F Fernandes

Mr. Titus F. Fernandes, MBA, is the CM Club Advisor from Mangalore 1 (621) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) - India’s most trusted life insurer - and a Gold Star Advisor of United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC), a state-owned general insurance company, for the past 24 years.

Mr. Titus F. Fernandes was the School Pupil Leader of St. Aloysius High School, Mangalore, in 1978. After completing his graduation from SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, in 1983, he worked with M/s Rizvi Builders, Bandra, Mumbai. He later entered the transport business and owned and managed a fleet of trucks under the name and style of Ferns Transport. In 1990, he became the Secretary of the DK District Lorry Owners Association.

In 2001, inspired by the role of insurance in the transport industry, he appeared for the IRDA examination and entered the general insurance sector, later expanding into life insurance. In his very first year, he achieved remarkable success in both general and life insurance with the support of friends from the transport industry and his family. To provide better customer service, he established Premium Point under the name and style of Ferns Services in Kadri, Mangalore, in 2009. He currently operates from his own premises at #3, Jayavarma Center, opposite Mallikatte Circle, Mangalore - 575002.

In 2011, with the highest premium business in LIC from Mangalore, Mr. Titus F. Fernandes became Mangalore’s first and only MDRT qualifier for that year. In 2012, he attended his first MDRT Convention in Anaheim, USA. Since then, he has consistently qualified for MDRT every year through 2025, achieving a total of 14 MDRT qualifications and becoming an MDRT Life Member in 2021.

In 2013, while attending the LUGI (Life Underwriters Guild of India) Convention in Bangalore, he was inspired by Mr. P. Srinivasan, Founder of LUGI. He subsequently became a Life Member of LUGI, served as Treasurer of the Mangalore Chapter, and attended conferences both in India and abroad.

He is also a Life Member of the Mangalore Management Association, affiliated with the All India Management Association, New Delhi.

Since 2012, he has attended 11 conventions in the USA and Canada, including the Global Conventions held in Sydney, Australia, in 2019 and 2022.

Mr. Titus F. Fernandes is committed to providing the highest standards of customer service and educating clients on financial planning. To further strengthen his expertise, he completed his MBA in Insurance and Financial Planning from Chitkara University, Punjab, in 2019 under the leadership of CA Aman Chugh.

Alongside his consistent MDRT achievements, Mr. Titus F. Fernandes became Mangalore’s only LIC Advisor to qualify as a Galaxy Club Member during 2019-2021, one of the highest recognitions in LIC next only to the Corporate Club. His success continued in general insurance as well, where he was honoured as a Gold Star Advisor by United India Insurance Company from 2019 onwards. Since 2021, he has also been associated with Care Health Insurance as a Health Planner.

Mr. Titus F. Fernandes specializes in life insurance, health insurance, child education planning, and pension plans. Recognizing insurance as an essential necessity alongside food, clothing, and shelter, he possesses extensive experience in financial planning solutions for individuals and families.
